NATIONAL CIVIL RIGHTS MUSEUM REVIEWS

Wow. Beautifully constructed, my only complaint was WOW that was a lot to read. (As a reader, that is a good thing!) But I didn’t have nearly enough time. If you wanted to truly learn and read everything in there, it would take you 5hrs to get through. So plan accordingly. There is a large free parking lot half a block from the museum, so that was lovely. Staff was INCREDIBLE! So friendly, polite, and answered any questions I had.

You watch a short movie and then you leave that area and start the tour. Lots of exhibits. You probably need at 3 or 4 hrs if you fully want to read and look at all exhibits. I did not take pictures inside the museum. I think they asked you not too. If we really want to be better to each other you should go and see it and the one in DC.

We are grateful that we were able to visit this historic site. I walked away with a renewed respect for the passionate conviction of civil rights leaders and tremendous gratitude for their sacrifices. MLK is a national treasure.

MEMPHIS MUSEUM OF SCIENCE & HISTORY REVIEWS

This is a great hidden gem. Lots to see throughout history, its amazing how much they fit in here. The planitarium is awesome and a must go to if you like immersive theater. They have an imax too. They also have a different interactive area that changes seasonaly. This place has more than you think, definitely worth checking out and seeing all the different types of history and world out there.

We loved it. It was great seeing all the different animals skeletons, learning about the unique history of Piggly Wiggly and how the Pink Palace came to be. The dinosaur exhibit was excellent and seeing how massive a Mastodon is was incredible.

Staff is very nice. Small museum. The Pink Palace part is cool. The history is also interesting.

Plan early to avoid large crowds. The museums are so fun and informative on the entire Presley family and life. All the shops are alot of fun and the staff are very nice and friendly. You can take your time with no one pushing you so its alot more fun. Gladys Diner has alot of great offerings for everyone. We were in the mood for some shakes to cool as down. So if you want to take a break and rest there are benches everywhere to get off your feet for a bit and then continue on your day. Bought alot of gifts for Christmas and of course for ourselves. There were sales on some items, the only problem is that near the end of the season alot of clothing is out of sizes. This is my third time visiting as I have brought several family members was now to see Graceland.

Absolutely wonderful experience. I visited in 1990, ten times better now. The new experience center was awesome. They say 3.5 to 4 hours. We were there 4, but could have spent much more. Every staff member was extremely helpful and friendly, except one cranky young lady in one of the gift shops. I highly recommend staying next door at the Guest House. I was also amazed that so many very young kids were there, and they were dancing and singing along with the background music. Elvis is timeless.

Elvis had some amazing cars and toys! We enjoyed walking around and seeing everything. The new interactive part of the museum was so much fun! I highly recommend it. We can't wait to go back and see it all again because I'm sure we missed some things since there was so much to look at.
