"Memphis Zoo aims to improve the security and stability of animal populations both in the wild and in human care. The zoo is an accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. Recently, the zoo was voted the 8th best zoo in the United States. The zoo houses over 4,500 animals representing more than 500 different species. Memphis Zoo has completed more than $93 million in upgrades and expansions since the early 1990s. It features a farm, Cat Country, Primate Canyon, and Night Life exhibits. The zoo provides its animals with a naturalistic and enriching environment, and its visitors with a safe, comfortable, entertaining, and educational experience. School community admissions are available for schools registered with their state board of education on a first-come, first-served basis, Monday through Friday. Memphis Zoo offers many discounts for members. Admission is free for children under 2 years old (ages 0–23 months).

What a great zoo! Friendly staff, friendly animals, everything was clean, everything was fantastic! Prices are fair and good quality all around. Animals were very active(could've just been dumb luck) and keepers/staff were easy to find and full of information. Would def recommend and will definitely be back again.

This zoo is amazing. So many cool animals. My favorite animals to see are the monkeys and big cats. This zoo had several species of both. The park seemed clean. The food inside the zoo was as expected. If you really want to see everything, I'd plan on a 2 day trip. This isn't a small zoo.

My 3 Kids & Myself visited the Zoo on a Friday! I purchased tickets in Advance and there was no wait! The Environment was Awesome! I loved all the Amenities & Attractions to choose from! My only complaint is the $4 water/gatorade in the vending machine! I will definitely visit again.

NATIONAL CIVIL RIGHTS MUSEUM REVIEWS

What a lovely piece of history in the heart of downtown Memphis, Tennessee! The National Civil Rights Museum is such an educational and informative as well as eye opening experience. It reflects upon racism and oppression in American from the beginning to present. To visit the Lorraine motel, which was the death place of MLK JR. was just so humble and inspiring. Each time I go to Memphis, I pay a visit here to see what is new. The museum is very clean and well laid out. The staff are all kind and friendly and helpful. Getting tickets is not a problem. You can just walk in and get them. There is a lot of material to read and it does take a while to get through the museum if you decide to read the materials thoroughly. Plan for 2-3 hours. They have a large gift shop with great memorabilia and souvenirs to purchase. It can get really crowded on weekends, so a weekday visit is highly recommended. I highly recommend visiting the National Civil Rights Museum. It’s a must if you are visiting Memphis.

Truly a life changing experience that every American needs to be a part of at some point in their lives. Gives you an appreciation of how far we have come & a view into the reality of far still need to go. The scales of inequality created by slavery & racism can never be truly rebalanced.

Visiting this museum feels like a true American rite of passage. If someone who's been tries to describe it to you, I'd gently suggest asking them to hold off – the immersive experience is best discovered firsthand. Trust me, just go and let it unfold.

MEMPHIS BOTANIC GARDEN REVIEWS

What a splendid garden, rather 30 themed gardens. I walk fairly steadily pace. I saw the entire gardens and spent two and half hours. But I was mainly visiting to see the troll exhibit. I will definitely be buying a membership so I can come and sit in the gardens and have lunch or read. Or even soak up the sun. Very well kept. Absolutely recommend all people to visit.

I absolutely love this place and will be returning. If you need a day adventure away from the city to enjoy some beautiful nature, this place is a must. We went to see all the trolls, but we will be returning once they are no longer an exhibit as well.

Came here specifically to visit the trolls, was pleasantly surprised with the gardens. Everything was well kept and it was easy to explore the beautiful gardens. Staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend a visit to Memphis Botanical Gardens.
