"Overton Park features the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art, Memphis Zoo, a 9-hole golf course, Rainbow Lake, and the Greensward. It also includes two large climbing structures, a green mound with a tree tunnel slide, chess tables, swing sets, and a classic merry-go-round. Overton Park offers a free library and picnic tables. It is a fabulous place for jogging, bike riding, and playing with pets. The park has two playgrounds and a green space area where visitors can relax in nature and spend time with their family. The park offers free entry and has a parking lot available.

2026 Update: Overton Park has the old Forest State Natural Area – 126 acres of protected old-growth forest. 8+ miles of trails, including dirt, paved, and limestone running loops. The Park has a large open lawn for relaxing, picnics, and gatherings."
