What a beautiful park! We were staying at an Airbnb nearby and we had a few hours until we had to be to our next event, so I took my kids here to the playground by the pond. Beautiful! They played the entire time! The trails were muddy so we didn’t go far in, but the paved road through the trees was perfect for waking and running. I felt safe alone during the day the next morning when I came back to run. Would highly recommend this place to families. *I did not check to see if there were restrooms and if they were clean, I’d there were any.
This is an incredible park! It's got a Zoo, Art Museum, and an old growth forest with many trails. I spent about two hours just walking around the trails at one point I thought I was lost. I thought if I get lost in the forest in the middle of town, I'm never gonna live it down. Overall this is a hard park to beat. I fantastic way to spend an afternoon.
Very convenient park to stretch and breathe clean air right on the middle of the city. The park is well maintained and developed. Lots of walk ways throughout the forest will make you forget that you are in the city.

Visiting for a conference. Discovered the river was close to the hotel so we headed out. We were totally impressed with the paved walkways, landscaping and entertainment areas. The folks of Memphis have gone above and beyond the call of duty! Very nice! We enjoyed it so much we walked all the to Bass Pro shops. Felt completely safe the entire trip.
The park is absolutely beautiful! I so hope it last. Please take care of this place. The walking trails, picnic area, playgrounds are so nice and very well done. The planning on this was awesome. This would be a good sensory place for kids. The views, the scenery, the plants, the colors... everything is so well done. Again! Please let's ALL keep it as nice as it is now!
Great new park that is visually pleasing and fun for everyone of all ages! The children's playground is creatively designed and well considered. There are restrooms and a place to purchase beverages. Lovely view of the Mississippi.
