“Sunrise Mountain Library offers a welcoming space for residents to explore a diverse collection of books, periodicals, and digital resources. The library started as a joint-use facility between the public and school libraries. The library, dedicated to patrons in northern Peoria, allows for the expansion of the city’s growing book and media collection. The book drop is placed at the entrance to the library. Sunrise Mountain Library has an 18,000-square-foot space and a collection of 105,000 items. The library offers free admission for all visitors. Parking is available on the west side of the Sunrise Mountain Library.”

“Peoria Sports Complex was the first major league baseball spring training facility, which developed players' facilities to be shared by two teams. The complex was built in 1994, and the center has functioned as a model for the facilities. The stadium is a 145-acre complex that is home to Major League Baseball's San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners. The stadium hosts year-round player development programs for both clubs in addition to spring training and is also used for many public and private events throughout the year. Peoria Sports Complex was also repainted to coordinate with the color scheme of the newly renovated team clubhouses, and restroom and concession spaces were upgraded with new amenities.”

SUNRISE MOUNTAIN LIBRARY REVIEWS

Sunrise Mountain library is neat and clean and has just about everything a library should! It's not a super large library so book selection is somewhat limited, but overall its very nice! The staff has always been friendly! I especially like their large selection of DVDs.

I am having a terrible day/ month. I was close to a breaking point. I can in to fax a paper. I literally started crying from stress and frustration. The 2 workers at the desk treated me with kindness and pure empathy. The world is better with them in it.

Its everything you want in a library! New, clean, well maintained, lots of amenities, good parking, fast internet, friendly staff… oh and they also have books.

PEORIA SPORTS COMPLEX REVIEWS

I was hosting 12 Naval Academy classmates plus spouses over the March 21 weekend. I reached out to Ty Petersen at the Peoria Sports Complex about attending a Spring (Cactus League) baseball game. Ty was very engaged, professional and communicative throughout the process of organizing and booking our game. We booked in the Collonade which is a semi private venue on the home field side. Great location to view the game and tickets provide access to a very good buffet and bar. You have the option of sitting in dedicated stadium seats or enjoying the indoor/outdoor seating in the Collonade. Ty also arranged to have our group featured on the scoreboard! Lastly, he personally appeared to meet our group and thank us for our business! The whole experience throughout was awesome.

This is a really cool spot if you are a baseball fan! The spring training home of the Mariners & Padres. Both teams also workout at this facility so if you head out early you can get an up close look at your favorite players working out. Today we saw the Mariners catchers working out and the hitting on one of the outdoor fields.

Very nice ballpark with a great selection of food options. Free parking is a nice bonus, but get there early before the lots fill up.

PEORIA PUBLIC LIBRARY REVIEWS

I used to go to this library as a kid and loved every second of it. I went back recently and saw how it was remodeled and looks great! They have even added a seed bank, a big selecting of movies and a whole computer area. A fantastic library all around and getting a card gives you all sorts of options for online libraries for books they don't have on the shelf and access to resources.

My family loves the Peoria Library, especially my kiddos. They range in age from 17 to 10, they love the wide selection of books available and how quiet and peaceful the library is. I love the design and layout of the library...and the books, of course! And last but not least, the friendly and helpful librarians are a big part of the great experience at the Peoria Library.

Such a nice library! Really large selection of baby and kids books. Playarea/story time area were impressive. Story time was super cute too.
