My daughter (6 years) started learning piano and vocal in Peoria music academy. Her teachers - Ms Katie is amazing. She adjusts the pace of learning based on the student, their progress and challenges her enough. She teaches them new stuff without kids getting overwhelmed. My daughter is very good in singing. I was worried that formal learning might make her disinterested. But Ms. Katie has made it so much fun for her that she wants to learn even more. The management up front is also very efficient. It's run by a family who personally connects with each student and try to take care of them in best possible way. Their communication, reminder system, holiday schedule, etc. is very clear and transparent. I highly recommend this place.

Mr. Flanagan is very professional and highly proficient as a drumming and guitar teacher. My daughter always looks forward to their lessons. His are fun, understanding, patient and flexible. He makes the study of playing instruments seem easy. His methods help you learn at a faster pace. My daughter’s quality of playing has improved rapidly since she started with Mr. Flanagan. She finds herself loving to play the drums and wants to practice a lot longer and more often thanks to Mr. Flanagan. I highly recommend Mr. Flanagan and the Peoria Music Academy. It is the best choice for your child’s success.

He teaches not just what to play, but why and how, so it really sinks in. It’s a truly holistic approach that helps everything feel natural over time. Highly recommended for anyone serious about learning guitar on a deeper level.

My son has been taking piano lessons from Mel for about 9 months now. He always enjoys his time with her and I've seen a good amount of growth since he began (even with our infrequent practice at home lol). Mel is always kind, patient and flexible with our family. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to learn the piano.

My first time here with a child who's learning to play the violin starting this school year. Martha was a wonderful help to this clueless parent and I am so grateful for the way she eased my concerns and handled the instrument rental and purchase of supplies with ease and grace. The store is a nice welcoming gem.

Ms Lori is so knowledgeable and prioritizes teaching the basics and fundamentals of learning music theory plus provides super fun lessons. Our son already knows how to read music and play piano at a much higher level than we ever expected! We are so thankful.

My son has been taking piano lessons from Lori Taylor for a couple years now. Watching my child grow loving music has been a joy. Lori is patient and knows when to challenge my son.
