“Peoria Sports Complex was a well-established baseball complex in Peoria, AZ. The Sports Complex was the first major league baseball spring practice and developed players' facilities to be shared by two teams. Peoria Sports Complex was built in 1994, and the center functioned as a model for the facilities. The 145-acre complex, home to Major League Baseball's San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners, hosted year-round player development programs for both clubs in addition to spring training and was also utilized for many public and private events throughout the year. The stadium was also re-painted to coordinate with the color scheme of the newly renovated team clubhouses, and restroom and concessions spaces were upgraded with new amenities.”
