“Heritage House showcases a Queen-Anne Victorian-style house built in 1891-92 for Mrs. Catherine Bettner, the widow of an early citrus pioneer. The museum started as a collaboration of associates of the Riverside Museum, a volunteer support organization for the Riverside Metropolitan Museum. Visitors can enjoy a 45-minute tour of the mansion and properties conducted by Victorian Dress educators. The museum provides wheelchair access, with an on-site team member or volunteer available to assist with the wheelchair lift located on the side of the house. A gift shop is available on-site, which offers an impressive selection of books and merchandise that reflects the house's design. Parking is accessible on-site at the back of the house lot, and admission is free.”
