Heritage House is a museum that showcases a Queen Anne Victorian-style house located in Riverside, California. The house was originally built in 1891-92 for Mrs. Catherine Bettner. The museum started as a collaboration of associates of the Riverside Museum, a volunteer support organization for the Riverside Metropolitan Museum. Visitors can enjoy a 45-minute tour of the mansion and properties conducted by Victorian Dress educators. Heritage House is restored to reflect the design and lifestyle of wealthy turn-of-the-century Riverside. In addition to their Queen Anne design, it includes Moorish, Georgian, and Chinese elements. The museum provides wheelchair access, with an on-site team member or volunteer available to assist with the wheelchair lift located on the house side. A gift shop on-site offers a wide selection of books and merchandise that reflects the house's design. Parking is available on-site at the back of the House lot, and admission is free.

HERITAGE HOUSE REVIEWS
Lovely but chilly day at the Heritage house in December2022. Mom, herself a historical guru loved it and we will be returning this weekend in May to visit with my sister and hope to see the upstairs as well. Volunteers were great! We made oranges with cloves and ribbons to hang decoratively on the tree.??I recommend this place for an afternoon of leisure and learning.
Great place to come to check out and it's also Free! Reservation recommended there is also a small gift shop located to the right of the house
If you are passing through Riverside, this is a must see! They give tours but, you don't need to schedule in advance, although if you're able to, it would be helpful. Everyone was so incredibly nice, and very informative. I will definitely be coming back.

Jensen Alvarado Ranch is a famous Jurupa Valley Park and Museum. This landmark ranch retains the rhythm of farm life before it was even king of citrus. The museum was originally built by retired sea captain Cornelius Jensen and cwife Mercedes Alvarado in the early 1870s, preserving the essence of farm life from a time when citrus farming wasn't even prevalent. Riverside County has now set aside an oasis of historic farmland, preserving just 30 acres of what was once a vast ranch. Visitors can enjoy a night of entertainment, local cuisine, and drinks. The historical displays in their museum and the original ranch house are ample for all ages to see and do. Jensen Alvarado Ranch offers park and open space facilities covering more than 70,000 acres. Tourists can wander through their orchards, feed their farm animals, or walk through the historic ranch house.

JENSEN ALVARADO HISTORIC RANCH AND MUSEUM REVIEWS
Came here for the Riverside Dickens Festival. It's a nice outdoor space with a parking lot. They have a bathroom there and they had plenty of port a potties for the Dickens Festival. The Riverside Dickens Festival was great.
Very interesting place. It was worth taking a look around and imagining what life would have been like on a farm. Old buildings and old tractors were there so you get a sense of what it looked like back then.
This place is awesome!! Went there on a field trip with my son and his class. Learning about the history of the building the land and family while keeping it interesting for 3rd graders was awesome. We got to make and eat ice cream, tortillas and apples that are grown on site. Very cool.

RIVERSIDE HISTORIC COURTHOUSE REVIEWS
i can't really speak much about what goes on in or around this building. i can only speak on having some beautiful architecture like this tucked away in riverside. i've never really driven through here and i was so happy to have done so today. it's worth it to stop by here for a few minutes and take a look around.
Beautiful, historical building! The service we received was excellent. From the security check in to the employees at the counter, everyone was friendly, professional and helpful.
I came here for jury duty recently and Miss Hawthorne was a crack up everyone there was friendly and willing to help one another I would diffidently come back.
