I worked with a few electrical folks in the initial estimate stage and Hartman was by far the cheapest. Then when it came to the work, they were absolutely wonderful. They were friendly, fast, and very communicative. When we wanted to add a couple minor things, they were willing to work with us to complete those. Thank you so much for the help in upgrading our electrical.

B&K was fantastic. The crew couldn’t have been more polite and friendly. They arrived every day at the expected time. They cleaned up meticulously at the end of each day. They communicated clearly about what they were doing. It was a big job. Our house is more than 100 years old. They were here to get rid of old knob and tube wiring so we could safely add attic insulation. They removed the knob and tube from the whole house – there had been a lot of that old wiring. Together with that they brought the entire house “up to current code.” This was quite a big job, so it took a whole crew more than a week. They worked in teams, focusing on only one or two rooms at a time, so that their work didn’t unduly disrupt the household. I was also very pleased at how they minimized the need to make too many holes in the wall. And the holes they did make, they patched very nicely. Since this was quite a big job, it was pretty expensive, but given how much time and materials were involved, I considered the price very fair. I found B&K on the web. They described themselves as prepared to deal with knob and tube, and indeed they were. A hearty shout-out to all the crew who did the work - Frankie, Cristian, Kyle, Emanuel, and Eli.

B&K Electric gets 5 stars. They were on time, courteous, polite, efficient, honest, knowledgable with reasonable prices. I have more work to be done and I will call them back in a minute!
