Alicia specializes in trauma-informed care, addressing issues related to adoption, foster care, attachment, abuse recovery, and fostering healthy relationship dynamics. Her services include professional mental health counseling, family therapy and adolescent therapy, among others. Alicia is also a practitioner and educator in Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI). She is passionate about supporting and equipping families in various areas such as relationships, parenting, faith, discipleship, community, and nurturing emotionally healthy spirituality. Alicia co-founded Thrive, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering, equipping, and encouraging foster and adoptive families in Alachua County, Florida. She finds joy in her 24-year marriage to Dave and raising their two college-aged daughters together.”
