LOLITA COCINA & TEQUILA BAR REVIEWS

The cocktails were all amazing! Definitely feels like you're in a speakeasy bar. The Latin music mix on Thursday evenings were a vibe! I tried 4 different cocktail drinks on the menu and they were all delicious. The Bartenders were very attentive and made every drink to perfection. My favorite drink was “Play Nice” which was a mix of tequila blanco & rum which I’ve never had before. Delicious We live in Houston and in Boston for the weekend, would come back again!.

The restaurant is designed in a Lolita-inspired style and is housed in a historic building, creating a unique and cohesive aesthetic. The attention to detail in the décor enhances the overall dining experience. Service is excellent, with dishes served promptly. The food is authentic and expertly seasoned. I ordered nearly all of the restaurant’s signature tacos, and each one delivered an amazing taste.

Absolutely eat here. We were visiting for a few nights and always look for unique places to eat when we travel, this did not disappoint. The atmosphere is cozy, exceptional staff and the food and drinks were beyond our expectations.

Had a decent meal here! The tacos and chicken enchiladas were all fine, but very one note. Felt on the more expensive end too and I’d be more likely to go to Citrus & Salt or bartaco instead. I would recommend the baja fish and the quesabirria tacos. The fried plantains were okay, but definitely needed more crema.

We had a great time here! Ashley was an amazingly attentive server and made us feel welcome. I tried both the Mezcalita and the Spicy Cucumber cocktails and would order again, the Mezcalita in particular. Guac was made table-side to order and was balanced. Pricing very reasonable for the area, too.

I liked the Fajitas that I ordered. We went there with a group of colleagues and everyone enjoyed their food. The ambience was great and so was the service. Definitely recommend.

I used to live nearby but had no idea this place existed! It’s a really cute place tucked away from busy Newbury Street. It was packed on a Friday night and a reservation was a good plan. We all had the enchiladas but different types. The veggie enchiladas with the mole sauce were really fantastic. The portion seemed small when it came to the table but it was quite filling. We also shared the baked cheese (dip) as an appetizer which was pretty tasty but we wished it came with more tortillas.

This place is awesome. This is one of the best mexican meals I have ever had. The enchilada mole was awesome. Guac was fresh, bartenders were on top of it.

I celebrated my daughter's 18th birthday here and everything was great. The service, the food, and even the other patrons.
