Abe & Louie’s is our favorite go-to spot in Back Bay, and it never fails to impress. The ambiance is warm and timeless, the food is exceptional, and the service is second to none. We always request Vladdy—he’s amazing! But truly, every member of the waitstaff provides top-tier service, making every visit special. The steaks are always cooked to perfection, and the seafood is incredibly fresh. While not pictured, some of our all-time favorite dishes include the rich and flavorful French Onion Soup Au Gratin, as well as the indulgent Macaroni & Cheese and velvety whipped potatoes—absolute must-tries! Abe & Louie’s consistently delivers an unforgettable steakhouse experience, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.

The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. The steak was cooked perfectly & the sides complemented the mains really well. Everything was seasoned perfectly & we even had enough space to order dessert, which was fantastic as well.

What a great old-school classical vibe. I came in with some colleagues and was blown away by the atmosphere. We had a plethora of appetizers, steaks, aides, and desserts. All were amazing. I'll be back every time I'm in Boston.

GRILL 23 & BAR REVIEWS

A classic old-school steakhouse that feels both grand and cozy, with delicious food and welcoming service! The Wagyu carpaccio was unbelievably tender, melting in your mouth, and the 100-day aged prime ribeye was well seasoned and cooked to a perfect medium rare. The meal ended on a high note with the famous coconut cake – creamy, rich, and refreshingly complemented by the pineapple sherbet. A truly wonderful experience.

Came here after my fiancé proposed and had the loveliest dinner. We split the 1,000 layer potato with white sturgeon caviar, the 14oz dry aged prime NY, sautéed spinach, mac n’ cheese, and the cutest celebratory ice cream for dessert. The wine list was beyond impressive and we will definitely be doing more special-moment dinners here.

I’m a foodie from Japan who loves eating out, and this place is excellent!!! A very classic American grill with a sophisticated vibe. I had the filet mignon, and it was amazing! My friend, who brought me to this place, was so impressed with the service—she requested a quiet space for me at the last minute, and a quiet corner was indeed prepared. We were both so impressed with their hospitality. This will absolutely be my go-to place for special occasions.

The food and service was amazing! The view and the atmosphere was beyond what I thought so Beautiful. Our server was Israel he is wet professional, efficient, kind and always smiling. he check on us many times during our time there. So if you go there ask for him even tho there are many server he stood out. I would recommend this beautiful restaurant to all. Trust me you won't regret it. I'm planning a gathering next month here. We loved everything! My friends and I went to celebrate the birthday of one of us, the food was good and they have an amazing service! Our server was Daniel, it was our first time there and he explained us everything, he gave us some recommendations for food and drinks, and everything he told us was so delicious.

We had an amazing time! It was so delicious and a really cool experience…I’ve never been so full. Benjamin was an awesome server and we’d go back just for him. We told him we were visiting from Canada, and it was our first time there. He made sure we had extra special desserts, which I super appreciated. If we’re ever back in Boston, this is for sure where we’ll be going for dinner.
