I was looking for the midwife during pandemic and my path crossed with Maggie. I don’t even have words to describe how amazing she was. Maggie is very caring, emphatic, professional and the best human being in the world. My birth went smooth, no stress, no necessary distractions, she took care of me and my little one. When it comes to antepartum visits she informs about everything in a wise, comforting way. I truly recommend Maggie and her entire team, they will participate in the most important event of your life quietly, patiently and in a most caring way. Look no further, you’ll fell in love with her.

I have known Maggie for years now through my OB office. My husband and I decided for our second and last baby to do a home birth and Maggie and Co. was our for to. Maggie was amazing from beginning to end. She made us feel comfortable, safe and empowered during our prenatal visits. I loved the more personal visits. When time came for our little one to enter this world she was professional, hygienic and caring. She stayed with us after our baby was born and made sure our baby and I were doing well. I’m a pediatric nurse and know everything that could happen. Maggie eased my mind and guided us in a beautiful water birth of our son. She is a blessing and I would do it all over again with her by our side.

When we found Midwife and Co we were on the fence between a hospital birth and a home birth. Maggie was so kind at our consultation answering all of our questions and we immediately felt at ease and safe in her presence. As my pregnancy progressed and we spent more time with her we became more and more confident in our decision to have a home birth under her care. It was the best decision we made!! We were completely taken care of, and Maggie and her assistant come SO prepared for everything. Thank you so much for making our experience and delivery a wonderful success just like we imagined.

I had two perfect water births at home with Sheila and her midwives at what doctors would call “advanced maternal age.” She is 100% competent, capable, reassuring and supportive of mom and baby from the first consultation to well beyond the birth. My first child was born in a Miami hospital, which was a very traumatic experience. All of my choices and instincts were stripped from me there. Sheila restored all of that. I will be always grateful to her and proud that I didn’t let fear grip me regarding what some people said about their perceived danger of home births. Giving birth with Sheila was safer, healthier and more natural for both me and my babies compared to my hospital birth. I suffered post-partum depression for years after the hospital. None of that with Sheila. She spent at least an hour per visit with me, as opposed to 5 minutes with the OB. And the many house calls after the home birth! She’s just amazing. Not just an expert care provider, but a trusted friend who doesn’t treat you like a number. Don’t let her calm demeanor fool you. She is strong and knows what she’s doing every step of the way. Love you, Sheila!

Shelia is one of a kind. Such a deeply beautiful kind and love soul. I’m so glad to have crossed paths with her as her Essence will live on with me forever. She made being pregnant special and was there for me throughout I will always appreciate and love her for the exceptional person that she is!

Sheila and Miriam are such a wonderful team! I highly recommend both woman, their expertise and genuine care for what they do is phenomenal. The birth of my son would not have been without surgery if it were for them!!
