3 Best Sleep Clinics in Miami, FL

My teenage daughter had a polysomnogram done because she was sleeping too much and had headaches. There was a coordinated effort from the Neurology Department of the University of Miami Health System office to Dr. Shahzeidi office where the staff was helpful and polite. I thought all teenagers sleep, yet a polysomnogram is a diagnostic tool used to determine if you have a sleep disorder. This test is conducted overnight at the sleep center which a teenager must be accompanied by an adult. The sleep center is very clean, neat, and comfortable. I felt I was in a hotel room. The test monitors your sleep cycles and stages to identify any disturbances. You will be connected to a variety of equipment to help monitor things like brain activity, breathing activity and muscle activity. Then you go to sleep. We were treated very well by staff. I snored so loud I jolted the staff. I had no idea that I also needed a sleep study, which I scheduled for a later date with no problems. Dr. Shahzeidi and his nurse practitioner Tania Rosario work well together as a team to help solve and treat the problem at hand. I appreciate and applaud their efforts.

Had a wonderful experience at Sleep life Center. Karen was the technician that assisted me, and I have to say her service is amazing! She made me feel so comfortable, she make sure that I was feeling comfortable 100%. Very professional. Explained exactly what the whole study was about, what everything was for. The place overall, was very clean and sanitize, better than many hotels. Overall, a great experience.
