Spent Presidents Day at the Franklin Institute and I must say we were there for hours and had a great time. There are so much hands on activities, for the kids to do, so much learning, so engaging, very interactive, attractions every where, three floors of non stop learning. I definitely recommend. Street Parking/ meter is for three hours, there is also a cafe inside that has hot dog, popcorn, parfait, fruit, coffee, soda, etc.. There is also shopping inside.

I love this museum. There are sooooo many things to look and very interactive. I spent almost the whole day to visit all the sections and enjoyed very much. There are good shows at different time too. Highly recommend The Sky Tonigh. One of the best ones I ever watched in a museum. The Liquid air show was also fun. Kids would definitely love it. One negative thing is the stuff in the gift shop is pretty expensive, and lots of them don't have a price.

Super exciting and cool place for all ages. I had a fantastic time wandering around. The building is very large so things are quite spaced out inside. The installations have lots of details from floor to ceiling. The ticket prices feel expensive, but if you go to all the different exhibits, you are seeing 10 or so different areas. I would totally go again!

A must visit while in Philly if you are into anything medical, oddities, specimens, or just a little eerie. This place is so full of things to see. No photos are allowed inside the galleries, which makes sense once you see what is inside. The collection is massive and make sure you allot yourself enough time to see everything, it took us about an hour to get a good look. Admission is reasonable. The staff is friendly and informative as well

I was looking for something to do and decided to go to the Mütter Museum. Busy for a weekend but not packed, which made it easy to take it all in. The exhibits are interesting. The staff is incredibly welcoming. Kesha (hope I spelled that right!) delivered five-star hospitality. No photos allowed, which honestly preserves the mystery. Glad I went.

It was a rainy winter day and I had the whole museum almost to myself. I have no medical knowledge or aspirations but this museum is the bomb. I liked how the Grimm Brothers fairy tales were explained. I wish I lived local so I can buy a pass. It was my second visit,I'm sure not my last. But don't take my word for it, go see it for yourself.

MUSEUM OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION REVIEWS

We originally did not plan to visit this museum while in Philadelphia but decided to go on a whim. I'm a history teacher and I thoroughly appreciate the way this museum includes the diverse stories from our country's founding. Our country's diversity is one of the things that makes it unique in the world and this museum did a great job of that. It highlighted the diverse team that helped make the Revolution a success including women and African-Americans. It also included a variety of experiences of different groups from those enslaved people, women who lost their property regardless of their ideas, the old and the young. One of my favorite parts was at the end when they showcase photographs of Revolutionary veterans and contributors. Overall this museum was a great experience.

The Museum is a very good option for people visiting Philadelphia Old City and looking for something to do after Independence Mall National Park. Having been born a raised in Philadelphia this is my first visit. Beautiful building and good location. Very good historical overview of the American Revolution and The Declaration of Independence. The highlight of the collection is Washington’s War Tent. May be somewhat challenging for children and non history buffs. I feel that admission price is somewhat too high.

Thought the tour with the 5th grade class was excellent. Great information and well timed. Washington's tent was a highlight. I'm glad he had just a few manners and respect of his countrymen, along with his vast wealth, to use it during the Revolution. Also nice to see how the revolution spread beyond the US too.
