Baltimore School of Music

The Baltimore School of Music is a delightful place to practice an instrument whether you are a novice or someone whose looking to bounce back from a hiatus. The atmosphere is music and learning focused, the environment is always clean and well lit, the desk attendants are friendly and helpful and the instructors are lovers of all things music. Liz, in particular, has been a fantastic guide on my musical journey. I'm an adult leaner and she considers that in the type of instruction she delivers. Her warm, genuine personality, coupled with her extensive years of musical experience make her a dynamic asset to the Baltimore School of Music's Team.

I’ve been taking lessons for almost a year at Baltimore School of Music! I’m an adult student taking lessons with Jonathan. I’ve just gotten back into piano after about a 10 year hiatus. He’s been absolutely wonderful! I can tell he’s extremely knowledgeable and he is a natural teacher. I’ve already seen much improvements in myself. Every time I walk into the building I am greeted with friendliness! I also love that there are multiple opportunities to perform throughout the year as well. Thank you BSM and Jonathan for helping me rediscover my love for piano.

My 14 year old son developed a recent interest in piano and had been learning how to play specific pieces by watching Youtube videos. Mr. Ben was and continues to be the perfect instructor to help him learn the fundamentals while retaining his natural curiosity and enthusiasm. Mr. Ben is patient, attentive and responsive to my son's learning style. I would highly recommend him to students of any age and experience level.
