JONATHAN S. HALL, MD - FLORIDA SURGERY CONSULTANTS REVIEWS
Called around to get a Dr for my back problems. I spoke to Rosie on the phone and she nailed it! Best customer service I've had for years!!! I needed an MRI and the one near me was available past my next Dr appointment. Rosie took the time and extra steps to call around and get me an MRI sooner! This woman is a true angel. She is so kind and caring, going above and beyond for her patients. Thank you Rosie, see you soon!
This was the only time I received a nerve block in my thoracic that actually worked and was painless. I come from NY to have Dr. Hall preform this procedure. He certainly has helped me.
I dealt with Rose and she was very helpful. I had several questions and she patiently answered them all thoroughly. I appreciate the compassion and professionalism of this office.

GABRIEL A. GONZALES-PORTILLO, MD - BAYCARE MEDICAL GROUP REVIEWS
I cannot say enough about Dr. Gonzales-Portillo! He is extremely kind, compassionate and a medical genius! I had a pretty complicated case of scoliosis. I’m in my 50’s and was told by an orthopedic surgeon that I was too old to be fixed. Dr. Portillo took so many factors into consideration and performed an 8 level Fusion. I cannot praise him enough! I am not on any pain medication, either! Had a minor “tweak” done in July (sac fusion) and rebounded in a few days! He is THE ONLY surgeon I trust!
Excellent office. Doctor was very personable and took his time and answered all my questions and thoroughly explained everything.
Dr. Gonzales Portillo is very caring and attentive to my questions and concerns. I feel totally confident in his expertise and knowledge. I've been a patient going back over 10 years. Great staff as well.

HARRY VAN LOVEREN, MD - UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH FLORIDA REVIEWS
Dr. VanLovern informed us and educated us on every step, the risks and possible outcomes. My son is doing well, with no deficits, I’m confident Dr VanLovern was the best guy to perform his surgery. (Initially my son was at another local hospital, the dr there DX him with something completely different than what he actually had, if we had went with the 1st dr my son wouldn’t be with us today!)
He removed my husbands brain tumor , last April 29th 2022 i believe my husband had and still has a better chance of living longer because of Dr. Van Loveren. Dr is a very caring and kind heart . i wanted to call him many times and tell him how my Dr Dave is doing. Dave tells everyone that he had the best surgeon to remove the cancerous tumor . With Dave's high grade 4 tumor he's still going been over 15 months thank you.
I am blessed that I was referred to you. I had removal of bilateral meningiomas in 2011 in Sarasota. I had surgery, it left me blind and unable to work as a neurology nurse a profession I loved and worked in 20 yrs. I now live in Tampa since that time I have epilepsy and 2 new meningiomas my neurologist referred me to you. I thank God for you and everything you do for your patients. - KM
His compassion, understanding of two former brain surgery and cranioplasty gone wrong, his ability to pinpoint the source of my problems, he was simply outstanding. He saved my life doing another cranioplasty with removal of the infected, rotten bone flap. His actions saved me from Meningitis going rampant in my head, he also prevented it mowing into my spine. Hands down the most gifted professional who not only took care of me medically, but he gave me hope after I was thinking hospice is the last change for me. Thank you for your outstanding help, I will be forever in your dept.
