Dr. John H Shim earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the State University of New York Health Sciences Center at Syracuse. He completed his orthopedic residency at Montefiore Medical Center Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Yeshiva University. Dr. Shim has special interests in the neck, back, minimally invasive, and outpatient spine surgery. He has performed thousands of complex spinal procedures over the last 20 years. Dr. Shim provides many of his patients who have been managed successfully with non-surgical injection therapies.
