3 Best Occupational Therapists in Virginia Beach, VA

I am very happy with our experience at the Providence road location in Virginia Beach. They got us an appointment instantly, they worked with my schedule, and were extremely helpful and friendly. My son goes for speech and occupational therapy there and I can't say enough great things about both of his therapists, shout out to miss Sarah and miss Carly,. They're both so sweet, patient, encouraging, and awesome at their job. My son looks forward to going there and even though we have only been going there a short time I am already seeing him learn and accomplish some goals. His therapists listen to me and give me examples of things to continue at home so that he can be the best he can be. I would definitely recommend them 100 percent. Very happy so far.

Immediately my kid's favorite place to be. And they don't usually talk to strangers haha. Miss Sarah (OT) is outstanding. She truly cares about the kiddos' success, as well as the parents! My kid had no idea there were goals behind the scenes, just that they had so much fun playing with Sarah that they couldn't wait to go every week. Truly everyone on the staff is caring and helpful. You can't go wrong here!

My kid has been attending OT sessions here at providence location in Virginia Beach for a year so far and has completely 180’d. He is definitely a success story from working his curriculum and both therapists that have worked with him have been absolutely amazing. They are professional, friendly and care immensely about their patients.

We have had the absolute pleasure of having Ms.Jiselle as our son's occupational therapist since he was 3 years old, and the progress he has made over the past year has been remarkable! Her child-led approach has been instrumental in his development, as we have seen significant improvements in his language development, social skills, focus, and play. He is now using his AAC device more effectively and beginning to use verbal language. His ability to interact with peers and adults has greatly improved, and he is much more focused during tasks and activities. Additionally, his play skills have flourished, showing more creativity and engagement than ever before! Ms.Jiselle’s dedication and expertise have made a world of difference in our son's life, she is genuinely dedicated to his development and we are incredibly grateful for her support and guidance to us as parents. Jiselle is top of the line OT! After trying OT at Adler and CHKD, I was very discouraged. No one could engage with my son and build rapport. They struck out with every toy and method while trying to engage with my son. He’s on the spectrum and mostly non verbal. After working with her for 10 months I have seen exponential growth! He enjoys working with her. She’s smiley and makes therapy fun! It doesn’t feel like work to him. She’s also given me invaluable tools to continue with at home between sessions. If you have the opportunity to work with Jiselle, I’d highly recommend it. You are bound to see growth with your child no matter where they are developmentally!
