JAKE MCCROWELL, DPT, CMTPT, SFMA - DIRECT PERFORMANCE PHYSICAL THERAPY REVIEWS
I am 62 years old, and somehow avoided breaking bones and physical therapy all my life. So I had no idea what to expect. What I loved about Direct Performance was that I had one therapist dedicated to me for my whole appointment. And we always used props and weights and equipment that you could easily have at home or purchase inexpensively. This means everything she showed me how to do at the appointment, I could easily replicate at home. The experience was personalized, and I felt like I got a terrific result! I would recommend them highly to anyone!
Direct Performance is a MUST for injury recovery for athletes. Other places are fine if you want to be able to do normal activities but not if you want back in the game. After knee surgery replacing ACL, LCL, restring hamstring, and meniscus repair, I had a long road ahead. I started with regular PT, but was fortunate to talk with a Direct Performance PT. Made the difference!! Now I'm running and skiing and back better than ever. Thank you Direct Performance!!
In 3 weeks of PT (and dry needling - that I didn't plan on getting when I first went) I got range of motion back in my shoulder that I hadn't had in years. Wish I had tried them years ago after a larger PT clinic failed to help.

MICHELE NIELSEN, DPT - VIRGINIA BEACH PHYSICAL THERAPY & WELLNESS REVIEWS
After trying numerous treatments for my hip bursitis & chronic back pain, I came here to get evaluated. Michelle did one of the most thorough exams I have ever received and I have continued going there twice a week for PT with her coworker Mike. The main difference between this facility & 2 other PT places I’ve been is that they do actual hands-on care along with the table exercises and equipment work. After a couple weeks with Mike, he suggested I try the dry needling for some persistent areas of pain. I’ve only had one needling session with Jessica and the pain reduction was significant. I have several more sessions with her and several more weeks with Mike but I’m so encouraged by the improvement I’m getting, I am strongly recommending this facility to anyone. Mike, Michelle & Jessica are extremely skilled and phenomenally talented in their craft, but in addition, all their assistants and front desk staff are so friendly & helpful.
Long story short, I had a spinal tumor. I went to physical therapy because my PCP thought it was just sciatica and after Michelle and Mike took the time to try and fix my symptoms they never once decided my age was a factor (I'm young and medical providers kept thinking I was just being a baby). They ended up referring me to a neurosurgeon and low and behold I had a spinal tumor. If it wasn't for them who knows how many more times I would've been dismissed and how much longer I would've been in pain. I HIGHLY recommend them. They were also great post spinal surgery with my rehab as well!
Always a great and pain relieving experience at VBPT. The staff from the front desk, the assistants and the Physical therapist are excellent! I only go to one place for my therapy and pain relief.

TRACY M. HERNANDEZ, PT, DPT, MS, MTC, CMTPT - INNOVATIVE THERAPY & WELLNESS REVIEWS
I have been using Innovative therapy for many years with great results. All the therapists are well trained with using different modalities, such as dry needling and myofascial release to name a couple. They are extremely kind and considerate and very professional. You receive therapy in a private room with a dedicated physical therapist, not a trainee or assistant which is the case in many other physical therapy locations. I recommend innovative therapy very highly.
You will receive a complete and personal one on one physical therapy session at Innovative Therapy. They are knowledgeable and experienced in all ailments. Massage therapists onsite work with your therapist helping with recovery. Everyone at Innovative Therapy & Wellness welcomes you with a smile and A kind heart. Thank you for that you do !

All The therapists I’ve seen are top notch!
