If you are looking for one of the most improved businesses, and entertainment sources, in the city of Akron, the Akron Zoo has to be at the top of the list. I have been going to this zoo for years. When I was younger the zoo was only as good as the funding and resources they had. Throughout the years, I have seen this zoo transform from a local zoo to a zoo that can rival some larger cities.

Great place to visit in Akron, Ohio for visitors and locals! I took the guided tour and was really pleased with the tour guide's knowledge and enthusiasm for this house museum. The grounds were also beautiful. Make time to walk around the rose garden and the conservatory. They offer a few different tours for different levels of interest. You can do a self guided tour, a guided tour, or the nooks-n-crannies tour that takes you to see the parts of the house not seen in a regular tour.

Growing up in Akron, I used to come here almost every other week. I love the Akron Art Museum! Even though isn't too big, it has a great mix of local contributions and nationally recognized artists. This place has beautiful architecture, a friendly staff, and a great collection. If anyone somewhat likes art, be sure to check out this museum if you're ever in town. P.S. The architecture is especially beautiful in the rain.
