We have been fully embraced by this hometown bar since we moved to the area. The staff is so caring and attentive and makes you feel like part of the family. We first got hooked as Ohio State fans, experiencing games here is on another level, so much fun! We’ve tried so many items on the menu and have been disappointed. Trisch, the manager is amazing and caring and focused on giving everyone a great experience. We’re so glad to have found a place to call home around the corner! Great service by Kylie and Johnathon!! The food was PERFECT! Probably the best service we have received at a bar in quite some time ! We typically have our date night on Tuesday nights and we will absolutely keep The Basement as one of our faves!! I had the Gyro Philly and my hunny had the Ultimate Reuben. Both were fire.

Had a great experience. Got the Kaluger flatbread, very good. However, my service was the most exceptional part of my experience. Emma R. was on top of the ball and my glass was never empty. 10/10 service.

We had such a lovely experience here. This place is HUGE! I loved the patio and being submerged right on the city streets. Our server was nice and attentive. The menu has a great variety of items for any appetite. We had the southwest egg rolls...delicious. Fried pickles...delicious. My son ordered wings and they were hands down the best wings we've had in years. I had the Cuban and it was absolutely delicious. All of our salad dressings and dipping sauces were amazing. This place knows food. We were so pleased that when we come back in 3 weeks we know we'll be dining here again. They also had games to play in the back of the building. Chefs kiss.

I went there last night with a group of 21 guys for our monthly Down Syndrome Association of North East Ohio D.A.D.S. Night Out. In the five years I have been a part of this group we have never received better service than we did at the Barley House in Akron last night. We will definitely be visiting again.
