“Aurora History Museum was founded in 1979 and serves as a community-based cultural center with a focus on changing history. The Museum is the only public museum in Aurora, Colorado. The museum offers exhibitions and activities for all ages, showcasing local and national history, arts, and cultural centers. It contains over 100 historical images and various artifacts, including a restored 1913 Trolley Trailer 610 that used to run along Colfax Ave. Additionally, there are two changing display galleries in the museum. Aurora History Museum boasts a comprehensive historical archive of images, documents, and research materials available on request. The historical research library and archive are open by appointment. Programs, tours, workshops, teas, lectures, and family events are offered for all ages.”
