Aurora History Museum was founded in 1979 and is a community-based cultural center with changing history. Museum offers exhibitions and activities for all ages with local and national history, arts, and cultural centers. It contains over 100 historical images, different artifacts, and one-of-a-kind fully restored 1913 Trolley Trailer 610 that used to run along Colfax Ave. There are also two changing display galleries in the museum. It has a comprehensive historical archive of images, documents, and research materials available on request.

Aurora Reservoir covers more than 30,000 acres of open area with more than 800 acres of surface water. It is located in Colorado's second-largest city, Aurora, east of Denver.
