Sand Creek Park covers 85.6 acres with native trees and plants and a new playground for kids of all ages. The park has an 11.7-mile trail with an elevation gain of 278 feet. This is an out-and-back trail that takes about 3 hours and 35 minutes to complete. This is considered a moderately challenging route. Visitors can take in the scenery from an open-air platform that offers a panoramic view of the park. This trail is moderately trafficked and allows visitors to observe various types of wildlife and birds. Sand Creek Park also provides a wide array of opportunities for bike riding and bird watching.
