They offer hands-on exhibits and programs for the whole family to make a splash in Water Ways, investigate the awesome power of the air, climb to the top of a two-story maze, design, and create something new every day Discovery Studio. Group rates are available on weekdays with a reservation for ten or more children. Get the membership for your family and benefit from unlimited entry all year, member discounts on birthday parties, and more. Providence Children's Museum offers free admission is available for kids under 12 months. There is free off-street parking in their lot.

The RISD Museum is an internationally renowned art museum distinguished by its relationship to RISD. It collects, preserves, grants, and interprets works of art and design representing different cultures from ancient times. The museum is one of the world’s top colleges of art and design. It has a collection of about 100,000 objects. The RISD Museum also offers many institutional and public programs, serving more than 100,000 visitants each year. It offers free admission for members, youth (18 & under), staff, faculty, active-duty U.S. military personnel, and their families & students of RISD or member institutions. Admission is free every Sunday and each third Thursday evening of the month (5 to 9 pm).
