" Snookers Sports Billiards Bar & Grill has come a long way since its modest beginnings as a well-known billiards, sports bar & grill. The restaurant is established by Stephen and Regina Goulding in Providence's Jewelry District. This spacious venue was a popular Rhode Island hotspot, hosting many up-and-coming live bands, DJs, and well-known acts. Snookers is the perfect spot for meeting colleagues, hosting corporate events and entertaining visitors, or simply hanging out and enjoying your favorite sports games, craft brews, great food, and good vibes. Their kitchen serves a wide variety of generously portioned meals at very affordable prices. Snookers features a large 30-plus seat bar that provides over 20 draught beers, a spacious dining room, a seasonal beer garden, outdoor patio, and 60 HD TVs always showing sports action from around the world. They have been a favorite bar for city sports games for many years, and the original Snookers featured a pool hall with 20 pool tables, a game room, and a snack bar that served concession-type snacks and soft drinks. Their private spaces can accommodate groups ranging from 10 to 275 people, with a party menu to cater to any need.

Very busy place, there was an hour wait for a table, but the bar had a couple of seats open so we sat there instead. Food came pretty quick. I got the Bacon Burger with fries. My wife got the French dip and fries, It was delicious. The service was really good. The bar guy kept checking on us and refilled my beer my only complaint is the noise from all the kids running around. I'm surprised they don't separate all that out from the bar side.

Love coming here. The staff is always so friendly and kind. We never wait long for our food. And the food's always phenomenal. I think this place is underrated. It's a gem. And I like to visit the mall whenever I can. Brings back some nostalgia. Highly recommend.

We had a great time having lunch and playing games! There is a pretty big selection of games. The food was great for an arcade.

Came here for the first time tonight, came with a friend. We were greeted by a gentleman at the front desk, I believe his name was Ray. He greeted my friend and I with a smile. And then We were greeted by Shonna and her trainee. Both very nice and funny. My friend and I ordered the cheeseburger Pizza and fried pickles. Food was delicious. We were very happy with our service. A recommendation to the owner. You should install a jukebox in the pool hall that way we can listen to some old modern rap or rock while playing some pool.

Had a great eith my friends! All the dishes were delicious specially our dessert that i didnt take a picture but it was the snookers sunday ice cream! Very good, going back.

Stephanie the bartender was fantastic. Stopped in for a quick drink and a bite to eat. Go there from 4 to 6:00 wings and Pizza are on happy hour.

Fabulous comforting food - Had the oxtail stew. Wonderful obliging service. Very comfortable bar seats. My only complaint is the actual sports programming. “Sports bar” is in the name of this establishment. Hive TVs - great. However, the best they can do is a non-English channel televising the World Cup in a fuzzy picture (looks like it wasn’t a HD channel on a HD tv) on the Scotland vs Morocco game. And no sound (but rather music) despite request. Also, they tagged on a 18% gratuity without notice for a 2-person party. Not cool. I actually would’ve given more but the sneaky gratuity add put me off.

Absolutely loved this place. The environment was upscale, fun, and had such a great vibe from the moment we walked in. The lychee martini was so smooth and refreshing — definitely one of the best drinks I’ve had in a while. But the real star was the oxtail Rasta pasta… AMAZING. The flavor was rich, creamy, and perfectly seasoned. Everything from the food to the atmosphere made this a 10/10 experience. Definitely a luxury sports bar worth visiting again.

Varsity is my tried and true, new fave spot on the hill. They do service, food, drinks, and vibes very well. Not to mention, the weekly specials are worth stopping in for. The outside patio is expansive, and a nice option for seating. This is just what the hill needed.
