Some people on here talked about having a guide, that’s about the only thing that could have made this free little Museum even better. There’s a small variety of items helping to detail the history of Aurora as well as photographs. The life size trolley car is a highlight. I liked reading all the old fashioned advertising. There is also a modest gift shop with some Colorado/Aurora related items. And some cute greeting cards.
Had the best time here. I loved that Dave (a guide) explained his story through the exhibit. He’s even pictured in some of the photos in the exhibit. Extremely informative and will be coming back again. There were zero crowds. It’s also free!!! I’ll be coming back.
I love this museum. The staff is very friendly and the exhibits are interesting if you are a local history nerd like me. There is no charge to enter the museum so it is very affordable for families!
