It truly is a beautifully designed building that houses unbelievably wonderful pieces of art. You will see works of popular artists like Andy Warhol, Georgia O'keeffe, and countless others. The sculpture of "The Janitor" is amazing. He seemed as if he was going to tell me a story about the years of service he'd given to his field of work. Other works of art made me ponder what the artists message to us is, how the art was created, and what was the inspiration for the work? You will naturally wonder about these things and more yourself.
This museum is such a gem! It’s a beautiful architectural marvel designed by Santiago Calatrava. You will definitely admire the combination of shapes, spaces and light. The collection is also really well curated. Amazing contemporary art pieces and a great selection of modernist furniture.
I absolutely LOVED this museum!!! The staff was friendly and helpful. The art was absolutely STUNNING! I was very impressed with the number of Georgia Okeeffe paintings I saw. A great collection of both historical and contemporary pieces. I only wish I had more time to explore! I only had 2 hours before closing, and I definitely could have stayed another 2 hours.
