I wouldn't recommend any other daycare besides American Child! They have an amazing staff with so much heart and caring mindset. The facility has always been very clean and very welcoming. My children have been going here for 6 years, from toddlers to 3rd and 5th grade schoolagers. It’s been wonderful seeing my children get excited about going to daycare, especially during the Summer. The staff practically feels like family! The teachers really make an effort to engage the kids and develop them in a very individualised way. The management is really committed to providing a safe, fun, and LOVING environment. I'm very thankful to Shanna and the whole team at American Child! Please keep up the great job that you all do!.

Being new to Shreveport it was difficult to make a decision on childcare. I needed before and after school care. I was weary at first until touring American Child with Shana. I was greeted with a bright warm smile and well informed about the facility and schedule of how things works in the AM and PM for school agers. Months later I am still satisfied with American Child and their staff. My child loves it there, especially the field trips they take the children on when school is out. I would definitely recommend this facility for your childcare needs.

Very Good Facility. Ms. Shanna is a very understanding owner & will assist with your individual needs. My 2 grandchildren love it here. Toddler is learning new things & coming out of her shell, school ager LOVES all the extra activities.

My 6 year old started attending in 2021 when she was almost 3 years old. I was nervous because I have never had a child in a center before. Everyone was so nice and helpful and let me know everything about her day and her progress all the way up to 4 years old. She flourished and was ready for pre-k. When she started pre-k in the school district her teacher was amazed at what she already knew. Then in 2023 I had another baby. Since she has been there I have truly loved and respected any teacher that has taken care of her. Every teacher has shown love and care for her, her health, and her growth in learning. I am so thankful and grateful to all the teacher for treating my children so well and the care they provide as well as the transparency between teacher and parent.

I enrolled my toddler at Seesaw for 2 months. The staff and teachers were wonderful with the transition (for me and my kid). They kept us updated via a class app. After a few weeks, everyone knew his name and would greet him when he came in. There were many teachers that loved on him, but if you get Ms. Chassidy, you’re in for a real treat. The owner and front office are very sweet and responsive as well. We are sad to leave this daycare, but we needed to find closer childcare.

We absolutely love this little school. My daughter is so happy here! We have noticed a HUGE difference since she started here. She try’s to say “ teacher” “1-3” “apple” “ball” and so much more. I am very excited to see what else she accomplishes here at this school. I am a very pleased mama and I wouldn’t want my little one to go anywhere else Thanks to the staff for everything you do for my little one ~ Estella’s Rose’s mom.

My kids have been going to Young Years for 5 years now and I have loved it! They have a great program with such wonderful and caring teachers, that really take care of the kids. They always have fun activities or field trips planned, but their magnet school tutoring program really helped both kids get in to Eden Gardens! They pick up from schools and have a homework program! It's a win for a working mom! I would highly recommend!.

I must give five stars for this daycare. It is a great place and we love it very much. We moved to Shreveport from another country and my daughter, when she started to go here was four years old and could not speak English at all. They taught her and prepared her for elementary magnet school test. With their efforts of about five months, my daughter got chance in a magnet school. Miss Kim and Miss Megen are her favorite teachers.

Awesome education and competent staff members. Highly recommended.
