We found Mr. Kemp in a moment of desperation as my son was struggling to pass Trigonometry. My son is a student at LaTech and had already attempted and dropped the course several times. He had tried other services provided on campus and local tutors but it was Mr. Kemp who helped him to finally pass the course! Mr. Kemp was very flexible and accommodated my son’s schedule. He made time to meet with my son whenever an extra session was needed or to prepare for an upcoming test. We are extremely grateful for all of his efforts to ensure my son’s success and will be calling him in the future if my son finds himself struggling again.

When I started college, I struggled with Precalculus and Calculus I—until I met Mr. Kemp. His teaching made everything easier to understand, with a touch of humor that made the material more engaging. Thanks to his help, I went from dropping Precalculus and Calculus I to earning a minor in mathematics and achieving grades higher than I ever expected. My journey through Calculus IV and differential equations would not have been possible without Mr. Kemp.

My daughter loved using Kemp Tutoring! She was having trouble passing Calc II at LaTech. She just took it for the third time and got a B thanks to Mr. Steve Kemp! He was very easy to work with, responsive and friendly. Did virtual tutoring.

I would like to thank them for helping me and my family with school supplies, backpacks and the free experience. We got to get some good pointers in on how we all can help our kids to be able to be more proactive in school as well as some ways to help me be more involved. I needed to hear alot of what was shown and taught to us parents. Im a mother of 5 so any help was very much needed . Ive heard good things about MarvKavea but I got to see how very humbled and nice she was and everyone else who was associated with the back to school event. Our tutor Mr. Marv listens, empathizes, and understands the challenge of each of my children. The learning center offers individualized academic support crafted to each student’s learning styles and proficiencies. Our personal experience has led to more confidence, higher grades (A honor-roll), and a lifelong love for learning.

Every event I have attended have been nothing but success for the kids and adults. My kids really enjoyed themselves at sci port and appreciate the backpacks.
