"Mackenzie Main City Park spans 248 acres of lush green space. Visitors can enjoy horseback riding along the park’s scenic equestrian trails, immersing themselves in the natural beauty of the area. The park offers a wide range of attractions, including a captivating sculpture garden, a designated prairie dog habitat, an amusement park, bike trails, ball fields, fishing spots, boating and paddleboarding opportunities, and numerous picnic tables for outdoor dining. Golf enthusiasts can take advantage of Meadowbrook Golf Course, which features two 18-hole championship courses. Additional highlights include a windmill museum, historic farm equipment displays, and the park’s collection of larger-than-life sculptures created by artist Steve Teeters. These installations provide a stunning scenic overlook of beautiful Mackenzie Park.
2026 Update: Mackenzie Main City Park includes scenic canyon landscapes, rolling hills, lakes, and mixed paved and natural trails used for walking, jogging, and biking. The park contains two disc golf courses with multiple tee and basket layouts for different skill levels. The area has long served as a family entertainment destination with attractions such as Joyland Amusement Park and seasonal recreation activities. Meadowbrook Golf Course inside the park offers public golfing with views of the surrounding canyon terrain. Visitors can explore wildlife areas, fishing spots, picnic zones, and outdoor event venues throughout the park. The park also features equestrian trails and open recreation areas for outdoor sports and activities."
