VILAS (HENRY) PARK REVIEWS
What a wonderful park in downtown Madison! I always think of it as the wonderful zoo, but I realized during this trip that there was a lot more that the park has to offer than the zoo. I, my niece, and my nephew visited and enjoyed seeing all of the animals in the zoo. We probably spent about 3 hours there and could have spent more time, except we were tired. It is just lovely. On the way in and out, I noticed other features of the park, including picnic tables and fields outside of the zoo. It's a wonderful place! It's a wonderful place!
I loved it, a very nice place to spend a day with family and share with other people, and be connected with nature.
Free zoo experience. Sunday afternoon stroll with grandson. Most animals were out and active.
