Henry Vilas Zoo has a groundwater storage facility for the two large ponds on display in the Arctic Passage. This system is expected to save more than 2 million gallons of water a year in bear and seal exhibits over the dump and fill pool systems historically utilized. The zoo provides a variety of shows and attractions that will certainly thrill tourists of all ages. It affords free admission.

Olbrich Botanical Gardens is one of the most famous destinations in Madison, and this green oasis contains a sunken and a perennial garden. The garden explored 16 beautiful acres of outdoor gardens and Bolz indoor conservatory, a tropical oasis with native plants, a waterfall, and free-flying birds. It presents 16 acres of outdoor gardens that feature beautiful landscapes and hardy plants in the midwest. Botanical Gardens designs maintain and interpret parks and plant collections. OBG provides two scheduling options in which K-5 school groups can choose to participate in a paid led program. Visitors can private records tropical surroundings with a river and free-flying butterflies. It provides free open spring and fall tram runs during the weekends, daily during the summer.
