Predominantly serving Madison's LGBT citizens, FIVE Nightclub provides a very mixed crowd, like the younger, older, gays, and the straights, playing in one arena. The club does have "something for everyone" including an outdoor wrap-around patio with smoking privileges and allowed cigars, a large dance floor, tons of accessible free parking, handicap accessibility, plenty of restrooms, bar food, and a great selection of your favorite alcohol brands provided by friendly bartenders. Here, other perks include pool tables, gaming machines, darts, a popular drink menu, and an occasional complimentary buffet. FIVE Nightclub is known for hosting summer volleyball league games on their two huge sand courts and weekly Karaoke, ZUMBA, and country line dancing. For your viewing enjoyment, FIVE Nightclub is implemented with several big-screen video monitors.

Crucible is a mid-size venue, conveniently located on Madison's east side. It is also a city's strangest, friendliest nightclub. They are home to various alternative and creative events, such as industrial and electronic DJ nights, live music concerts, burlesque, cosplay, drag shows, community art gatherings, and much more. Local and touring acts are welcome here. Crucible is a friendly venue; the club is all on one floor with no stairs or other barriers. There is a ramp to access the stage for entertainers.
