SOUTHSIDE PARK REVIEWS
Absolutely incredible playground. Multiple areas with a wide variety of activities. Had to drag my kids away even after being there for a couple hours. The other parents and kids were very friendly, too. The art is great and the feel of the park is just nice. Men's room on the east side has definitely seen better days. Parking is metered on the east side and free on the west side.
ADA access in most areas. Special event on grass so sometimes access difficult. Fences across pedestrian sidewalks
One of the best parks around! Beautiful lake and walking path. Great, accessible playground and bathrooms for the kids. Great public art and a popular event slabs.

Looks like grass needs some cutting.. 2018.. update: June 22, grass is healthy green, plentiful, trees providing lotsa n lotsa shade.. a lot more beautiful today.. It's such a fabulously gorgeous summer day to sit under a tree n do absolutely nothing.. update: June '23, the park is in a much better shape today, especially the pond.. the water is much much cleaner and blue.. compared to some yrs back when it was almost black, and taken over by thick overgrown water plants.. now there's ducks n tortoises, ... and fish.
