TOP 3 MCKINLEY PARK REVIEWS
Such a wonderful park, it could use some additional parking for sure. So get here early if you have plans to scope out a spot, other than that it’s totally worth the parking hassle and a wonderful place to have a birthday party, take your kids, exercise, or just go on a nice walk.
I love this place it's so naturist and so peaceful good for weddings gatherings Northgate party or just a quiet self reflecting moment.
Such a fun playground with two for different age groups. Climbing areas and balancing areas are so fun. It's a nice green space around the playground too.

TOP 3 SOUTHSIDE PARK REVIEWS
I personally love south side park. There are for sure homeless that sleep there at night time and you’ll also find them there early morning. I usually come after school time and on the weekends and of course during the summer. They used to have a pool attached to the park but a couple years into Covid they drained the pool and haven’t opened it again, but they still hgaw monthly events there. There is also a large event area on the other side of the park and the walk around the pond there is nice. There are two bathrooms there and a drinking fountain which me and my child love. So, If Ty go close to or at night, bring some protection. If you got during The Weeknd be prepared for a lotttttt of kids. A pro tip: If there is an event or festival going on in the event area near the park, the park is dead so it’s a good time to go. There is also a basketball and tennis court attached to the park.
One of the best parks in sac! Large and elaborate playground, slit into three age groups. Large sand play area. Also Basketball and tennis courts. Fishing too. Eventhough I have never caught anything I have seen others. A group was play pickle ball when we last came. Looks like some of the semi broken exhibits have been repaired or replaced. Parking is a little tricky but there is always a spot eventually. Family favorite.
Southside Park is one of my favorite parks in Sacramento. It is incredibly beautiful & well-kept these days which I appreciate. The playground is also a favorite within the community because of the eccentric spaceship theme. I have many fond memories as a child playing on that playground.

TOP 3 HOWE COMMUNITY PARK REVIEWS
While waiting on a friend to get their taxes done, I explored the park. Nice walk ways, dogs were on leashes, the playground was full of kids and plenty of benches to sit down on. The pond was clean, even though know one was catching fish( fishing derby was the week before). Thanks to the newly hired custodian, (who loves his job) the trash was not overflowing and he even scrubbed the area to get rid of body fluids so I could sit on the bench to enjoy the view. I will be back !
Very big and cute park. We played tennis and badminton and were able to stroll around and see some ducks! I do wish people visiting were cleaner and kept in mind our environment, as I did notice some litter on the grass. We should make a collective effort to keep our community clean. I do not fault that on the park as their employees seem nice and attentive to their jobs. Thanks Howe Park!
Company had a work meeting. Loved the park The grass could be cut and more greener but overall I would love to have a picnic one day here. My most favorite is the squirrels running around all over the place.
