WILLIAM LAND PARK REVIEWS
A fantastic park to take your little ones to visit. Very colorful and open for the children to allow their imagination of story books to run wild. We couldn't choose a favorite because we enjoyed every corner.
It's a big and beautiful area. There's water, ducks and lots of grass and trees. We had alot of fun walking around this big place, the kids enjoyed the ducks and squirrels too. It was very relaxing there.
We were here Sunday, and they are giving away mulch! They have mountains of the stuff! I can't fit enough into my Prius! Wish I had truck-friends! Check it out! You haul it. Looked like they had skip loaders to fill truck beds.

DISCOVERY PARK REVIEWS
Great park nestled in the confluence of the 2 rivers. Has a boat launch for rowboats and for trailered boats. Lots of picnic areas with restrooms. No playground but lots of nature. Along the American river parkway as well. So it is a great place to park for a group bike ride. Donations of $6 is required for parking. The entrance from Richards offers a way to pay by card. The booths are not always operational but the rangers are always checking for the parking tag so don't chance it.
This is a Sacramento state park very well taken care of a wonderful bike and walking trail a beautiful place to have a family reunion Make sure you reserve the area They also have a place to launch your boat ????
Went early one morning. Very clean and quiet. Very large park. Have only been to Discovery 1 time before for 1025 Live and was stunned at size of park and how many nice little secluded tuck spots there were.

RIVER BEND PARK REVIEWS
I love that river bend park opens at 7am. Nice early morning hike/walk. My mom and I saw turkeys, squirrels, geese, swan, big wing birds, deers, fishermen, campers, picnic tables, restrooms, American river and lots of metal trash bins and plenty of hiking trails. There is a self parking payment kiosk that takes credit/debit, lots of parking spaces.
We love Riverbend park! It's $6 for parking inside the park or by the water, but there's also parking right outside for those who want to go for a walk or use the bike trails.
Plenty of wildlife to observe and trails to explore. I'd come back for a picnic for sure. This is salmon season right now so there's that. I liked the turkeys and woodpeckers especially. The natural sounds and air was very relaxing for me. 3.3 miles for the day and we'll worth it.
