UNTERMYER PARK AND GARDENS REVIEWS

This is a hidden gem that I am so glad we visited. The gardens are gorgeous and have so many different things to see. It doesn’t feel so big that it’s overwhelming, you need maybe 2-4 hours depending on if you’re trying to take a lot of pictures. They also have a small hiking trail there if you’re looking to do something a bit more. I really liked the way they have designed the different areas of the garden and the waterfall is very soothing to watch. Inside the gardens there is no area to picnic but they have spots where you could sit and hangout. They have a separate picnic area outside of the gardens, the view isn’t the greatest but it’s nice and relaxing and not too crowded. They only have a few picnic tables so make sure to bring your picnic set up so you can sit in the grass. The earlier you go the better. We got there around 10am and it was only slightly crowded, parking was manageable and there was no traffic to get inside. However, as we left around 1ish, it was very crowded and it was getting a little too congested in the gardens. The parking situation also wasn’t great at this point and there were long lines for cars to get into the garden.

Definitely recommended if you like well maintained flowers, trees and plant garden. The view of the Hudson and the New Jersey is spectacular from multiple points of the garden. The waterfall of the Temple of Love would be s great place for lovers; in fact there was a wedding that was to occur. A short drive from NYC in Yonkers, probably best if you rent a car. Parking is limited but a lot of nearby street parking available. No vending machines for drinks or snacks, but they are available in the snack shop of a nearby hospital.

This place is awesome. It has so many beautiful views that make you feel like you are in Europe. My family strolled around this place for almost 2 hours. Also, we surprised that they are not collecting entrance fees. We donated money to the donation box. One important note is that they won’t allowed big cameras. I am sure you and your family will love this place.

TIBBETTS BROOK PARK REVIEWS

Beautiful lake, all areas are constantly cleaned and landscaping is done to make the park picturesque. The paths are paved, so it's great for walking, running, or biking. They go around the big lake, which is about 1.6 miles and takes about 35 minutes to walk at a casual pace. The paths are also little hills and a little twisty making it a non boring path and great for interval training.

Very well kept park. Love the bike rentals. Whether you go play miniature golf, swim, bike, get a suntan or hike on the trails, you'll have yourself a great day!.

Very clean and organized. It's a very comfortable atmosphere where everyone enjoys the park and it's surroundings.

WELTY PARK REVIEWS

This park is cool . It has a big soccer field. Baseball fields. Playground for toddlers. Basketball court with nets. Its in north yonkers and people are friendly. Took my dog there just remember to pick up after your dogs.

3 baseball fields that get transitioned into 3 soccer fields during soccer season. Full length basketball court. Newly reconstructed tennis courts. Large playground for children. They often have leagues play here during season.

Picnic tables, benches, monkey bars, large play structure and shade. Great spot.
