Tibbetts Brook Park is Yonker's popular 161-acre park that offers a comprehensive range of Westchester country facilities. They have a lovely water playground for kids. Tibbets even has a miniature golf course, ice skating/skiing, two artificial lakes for fishing, and baseball facilities. The grounds have trails that are perfect for beginners, and it is suitable for families and friends. Tibbetts Brook Park offers many year-round recreational activities and holds multicultural celebrations, fairs, and festivals. The large pond is packed with turtles that come out to sun themselves when the weather is good. The park also has tons of space for tables for picnicking and a fair amount of grills. Tibbetts Brook Park is 6 miles (1 km) north of Van Cortlandt Park along South County Trailway, and Tibbetts Brook crosses north-south through the park on its way to the Harlem River. The park feature swimming, hiking, sports, nature watching, and fishing. The park has parking areas.

Sprain Ridge Park is a large wooded park that has hiking and mountain biking trails and picnic areas. The park is named for being situated on a hill between the Sprain Brook Parkway's northbound and southbound lanes. The park also has grills for the family to get together BBQs and an excellent biking trail network of decently marked loop trails. The park is a perfect place for picnics with different racks for various purposes and has a swimming pool. The staff was constantly cleaning areas that were high traffic. Car parking is available. The park has a good atmosphere and environment. The park features hiking, cycling, mountain biking, and trails.

Rockefeller State Park Preserve is a historical preserve located in Pleasantville, NY. The preserve was developed with donated land. The Rockefeller Family donated it to protect these lands for future generations. Hiking and equestrian trails are available in the park. Visitors can get the trail map at the Preserve Office. Rockefeller State Park is well known for walking, riding, jogging, and carriage driving, combinations of trails. It is home to huge oak, tulip poplar, maple, and beech trees and also has over 100 species of native wild bees. Visitors can enjoy the park 365 days a year. Rockefeller State Park Preserve has quiet countryside walks of all lengths through forested hills and valleys surrounding sunlit pastoral fields. Since 1983, the Rockefeller Family has generously donated over 1771 acres to the State of New York to safeguard these lands for present and future generations. The park has 45 miles of scenic carriage roads that are wide and easy to walk.
