NEWSTUDIO ARCHITECTURE REVIEWS
Hallberg Engineering, in White Bear Lake, MN has worked with NewStudio Architecture on many retail/hospitality projects since 2012. The staff at NewStudio is great at what they do! They have a creative team with great leadership (Sean Wagner and Melissa Martyr). NewStudio has a passion for historical buildings and have transformed many buildings into stunning new spaces for retail and restaurant use.
I called NewStudio seeking a referral for a contractor because I didn't think my project was "architect-worthy". However, after talking to Melissa Martyr, the operations manager, I hired the team for a kitchen remodel. The architects and interior designers at NewStudio are creative problem solvers with the expertise to work around the quirks of a 1930s home. I was able to provide input when and where I wanted so the process ended up very collaborative. I also appreciate how NewStudio worked within my budget. I look forward to working with them again!
The White Bear Lake Area Historical Society worked with NewStudio on a structural stabilization project at the National Register listed Charles P. Noyes Cottage/Fillebrown House. The historic house is owned and operated by the White Bear Lake Area Historical Society and could not be open to the public until the structural concerns were resolved. NewStudio handled things professionally and creatively making the entire experience pleasant and less stressful.

DAVID HEIDE DESIGN STUDIO REVIEWS
David Heide design studio team members played a major design role in converting our dysfunctional kitchen into a sensible space that truly improved the quality and productivity of our kitchen life. For that reason we have consulted with them once again for a whole house design project from the floor up on a new property They have been available by virtual means and by phone when ever needed Their creative design living space direction from color scheme, materials to overall big picture is spot on. Their attention to detail is stellar. It’s as if they have a sixth sense. Truly professionals in every aspect and I highly recommend them for any size project. Respectfully
“And on the eighth day, God created David Heide Design Studio.” Honestly the best decision I ever could have made! After years of contemplating renovating my 1940 historic home in Minnetonka, and meeting with various design an architect groups, I came across David Heide. In less than five minutes I knew my search was over. David knew more about my house than I did. His enthusiasm and love of architecture and design were unlike anyone I have ever met. A bonus is that he is an absolute riot! He speaks his mind and holds firm to what he believes while guiding the restoration in the right direction. What I admire most about David and his team Michael, Elizabeth, and Chris was their passion and vision to restore and bring my home back to life. We did the entire house and absolutely everything I needed from the contractor, design, fabrics and paint colors were handled through DHDS. To say it was a BLAST is an understatement. The processed evolved and the results only confirmed that going with DHDS was the best decision ever for me. My friends and family just love it!
This firm is truly a cut above. I commend them for their innovation, transparency, diligence and cost consciousness. The end result was an exterior entertainment center that has been an absolute joy for us. We love to entertain and always receive numerous compliments for this setting. Special thanks to Mark Nelson for his ability to turn dreams into reality!

TIMOTHY FULLER ARCHITECTS REVIEWS
Tim designed my dream lake “cottage” and it is still getting adoring reviews from family and friends. When Tim and I began the design process, little did we know the challenges we would encounter with my quaint (i.e., very small) lot on Lake Minnetonka. Together we persevered several challenges and changing rules with the City, but through each step of the changes required Tim was patient, responsive and creative. The end result is my dream lakeside cottage; a home even better than I imagined. Tim maximized the lake view and the sunlight in every room while adding the architectural detail that makes this a home that my friends and family enjoy to share. It is a charming, efficient use of space and detail. The summer of 2014 was an especially challenging year for homes in my neighborhood due to historic high lake levels and flooding; our streets and yards were under water and most homes were sandbagging and pumping. But, through it all the house that Tim designed stayed dry. This was the ultimate test and the home performed and exceeded expectations. I hope that you consider Tim for your home project and that you will love the home that Tim designs as much as I do.
It was a pleasure to work with Tim. He brings a breadth of experience to the table. He excelled at organizing the project and interfacing with our builder/contractor and was appropriately mindful of our budget. Tim met any deadlines and was very responsive. We have received many compliments about the design of our project particularly as it relates to complementing and fitting with the original style of our home.
We hired Tim Fuller to design a major renovation and expansion to our 1908 four-square in the historic Saint Anthony Park neighborhood in Saint Paul, MN in 2007-2008. The scope of the project involved increasing the square footage from approx 1400 to 2500 and, in the process, creating a master suite and renovated bath on the second floor, a family room/expanded kitchen/mudroom and powder room on the first floor, finished space in the basement, a new two-car garage, and re-siding/re-roofing the entire home. We trusted that he would honor the style of the home while creating spaces that a modern family of five would use and enjoy. Throughout the process, Tim listened carefully to our ideas and proposed a variety of solutions to meet them. We are delighted with the results and recommend him with complete confidence.
