Over a three year period, D-Wing replaced both the asphalt shingle and wood shake roofs on over 170 homes in our planned unit development located in Glenview. Dave Mirra and Mike Tullar were excellent to work with in every respect. They were supported by an excellent office staff and all the teams that worked on our buildings. Mr. Tullar was fantastic in dealing with individual homeowners requests. He was great in working with the engineering company we hired to oversee the project. Many residents opted to have additional insulation installed resulting in significant savings on their energy costs. They did an excellent job of cleaning up at the end of work every day including doing their best to recover all of the nails removed with the old roofing material. Our Village of Glenview Inspection Department seemed to be pleased also with the work done. I do not recall receiving any concerns from them. I give D-Wing 4 stars for doing a fantastic job in spite of many challenges including getting all the materials needed during a period where materials were in short supply.
We were searching for a high quality wood window product to tackle our window replacement project and requested installation quotes from multiple businesses. We ultimately chose D-Wing Construction and Marvin wood windows to replace seventeen windows in our home and could not be more pleased with the end result. Our sales representative was Hector Matos who provided us with all the information needed to make the decision, obtain estimates, measurements and answered all our questions throughout the entire process. Our installer was Wojtek who was extremely thorough from start to finish. The windows look amazing and add major curb appeal to the home. Their premium wood product line, excellent warranty and professional installation services are top notch.
I was referred to Christian Martin from a friend. Due to the nature of the work, a roof hail damage project, I was a bit worried about what to do and what not to do. Christian made it easy, from the estimates, walk throughs, coordination of work crews and most importantly to me, working through Insurance side of the process. The work took a bit of time, but all the crews were on time, courteous, respectful, cleaned up after, and answered all the questions I could come up with. Christian did a great job walking us through this ever step of the way. I will definitely refer folks to him.

Peter and his team did a great job on our roof from start to finish. We really enjoyed working with Peter. Really nice man with excellent customer service skills. Not hesitant to go out of his way to make a visit if necessary or drop off samples. Also makes sure you understand everything and explains it well when dealing with insurance. He's a real asset to the company for sure. Workers on the roof itself and gutters were great too. I pay attention to safety and they were all being safe up there. A big thank you to Guillermo and his crew for the excellent job they did on our roof installation. They were all very respectful and our property was spotless when they finished. We worked with Guillermo for almost a year prior to the installation and he was extremely patient with us throughout the entire process. His professionalism as a project manager is OUTSTANDING.
Guillermo took over the project through a transition period. He handled it flawlessly, dealing with cook county, material, and in the pandemic. I was very impressed by the Team headed by Rogelio. They busted their butts and got a big job done. I counted 8 roofers and didn’t leave until the job was done. Came back to do finishing touches. The custom gutter team was also awesome and seamless 6” gutters were interesting to watch being fabricated on site. Guillermo went above and beyond to put in insulated exhaust lines for the bathroom vents, went and got additional material to roof my shed, and decked me out with black gutters and downspouts. He sent a guy to retrim my skylights from inside to finish them off as well. Rain drop Gutter guards were the way to go!! My neighbors have gutter/roof envy! Thanks Guillermo! I’ve done 2 houses with Affordable and won’t hesitate to use again and again. You won’t be sorry you went with them. TOP NOTCH CONTRACTOR.
