SCOTT'S SEAFOOD ON THE RIVER REVIEWS
My family and I had dinner at Scott’s Seafood on the River and I remembered how we celebrated our parent’s 50th anniversary at the beautiful hotel next door, Le Rivage (a Westin Marriott property) back in 2010. Good times, and lots of memories. Brought my soon to be 91year old mom to celebrate and cant help being nostalgic. So glad to be back because the dishes and our dining experience were an absolute joy. We were not disappointed (can you tell from all the yummy-licious pix I took), a definite 10/10.
This is our 2nd time visiting this hotel and restaurant, the first time was back in 2018. The food quality of the Scott’s is a wonderful balance between it’s price, quality, quantity, and flavor. It is hard to find decent quality food and service nowadays at a restaurant and Scott’s surprisingly gave us a great experience. One of the staff who served us for both dinner and breakfast is Ashley, and she is one of the most courteous and friendly people we’ve encountered, amongst all the trips we had in different parts of the world. Thank you Ashley, for making dining a memorable experience again.
This is a first class joint all the way. I was there celebrating my birthday with 2 close friends. We had drinks and appetizers at the bar and then had dinner. My bestie had the seafood tower, I had Cajun pasta and B had miso salmon. The food was amazing and our server, J., was impeccable. I like this place and will definitely be back, hopefully with a date We were so hungry, we started eating and forgot to take pictures of our food.

JOE'S CRAB SHACK REVIEWS
I traveled 1.5 hrs today for my birthday lunch at my favorite seafood restaurant, Joe's Crab Shack in beautiful Old Town Sacramento. Upon arriving I discovered there was a 1 hour wait to be seated but once they discovered I was a disabled veteran they said, "We take care of our Vets here", they immediately gave me and my guest a table and upon receiving my bill they also gave me a 10% discount. So, good food, good service and good patriotism. I give a huge shout out to JCS and encourage all veterans and active duty to go to Joe's Crab Shack and they will give you the utmost respect for our service.Thank you JCS.
Joe's Crab Shack was a pleasant surprise. After looking at the disappointed Yelp reviews, we decided not to eat here. But on the last day of our family trip, we got off the city cruise right next to Joe's Crab Shack. We tried Joe's because we were hungry and didn't want to walk long to get food. It was 2:30 pm when we walked in, and there were only a few customers. We ordered the Blackened fish tacos, the salmon, and the Shrimp and Seafood ensemble. The food was great, especially the Tacos, and the atmosphere and service were top-notch. Would recommend.
We were in for lunch and sat the cantina side of the restaurant. The view from our table was amazing, but the service was the best thing of all. Our server/bartender Ramon was phenomenal, his outgoing personality and knowledge about the menu and drinks he offered were amazing. I walked in a little skeptical about this place because I personally dont like crab or any sea food whatsoever, and he kindly offer many other dishes that the restaurant offers. He was attentive and willing to answer all the questions we had. He made our stay a one of a kind and will definitely come back just to see him again. Thank you.

THE BOILING CRAB REVIEWS
First time dining at The Boiling Crab and the food was delicious. We had crab fries, snow crab, King crab, raw oysters, mussels, and more. The whole shabang sauce was an excellent choice. I highly recommend this place. They do get busy and so if you are planning on going, be sure to go there ahead of time and get on their guaranteed wait list. They will send you a text message when its your turn.
Location is good, good service and good food. The shrimp wasn’t soft. If you order sausage as a side, they give you a whole sausage just fyi.
My daughter wanted Boiling Crab for her birthday so we went and picked up an order. It was just as she wanted it and the food was great. Just make note that the mild is still VERY hot.
