Probably the most authentic sushi place i ever tried in America. The ingredients were fresh and the rice was properly cooked and prepared at the right temperature. They have great selection of Tuna.
Here’s the thing, when you travel to California you expect good food. You can understand when a dude just wants a good ‘ole Double Double from a popular restaurant chain. But then Sushi Ota take a double double to another level. Double Double Spicy Tune roll hits it out of the park. Wow. The customer service is great and the atmosphere is very Southern California.
Fantastic experience. The omakase was great and service was great. Every waiter/waitress were knowledgeable about each dish and explained the ingredients in the plate and best way to consume it. I will definitely recommend to anyone traveling San Diego.
