My son has been going to tutoring at Sylan for a couple of months now and I’ve seen tremendous progress in his reading abilities and confidence. He always tells me that he had the best time at tutoring which is a huge win for a kid who doesn’t love learning.

We began ACT Prep a few weeks ago. Sylvan in Montgomery worked to accommodate our schedule. Our son actually looks forward to the sessions and has learned a great deal regarding testing skills, strategies, and content. The staff has been exceptional…we couldn’t be more pleased. Took the ACT today…praying and expecting improved results.

Our son was falling behind in reading at the end of Kindergarten. His self esteem and confidence in his abilities had been essentially destroyed by his Kindergarten teacher. In addition to our help at home, we reached out to Huntington Learning Center. They performed their initial assessment of him and gave detailed explanation of the areas he needed help in. They composed a study plan with hours suggested and topics to cover. Despite his bad experience with school, he loved going my to the tutor. The one on one environment was so helpful for him. They were great about keeping us updated with his progress, and they used positive reinforcement. His skills and confidence saw marked improvement throughout the summer. He also seemed to mature some through the tutoring. He started 1st grade on a much stronger footing because of the great people at Huntington. We will use them again for sure, and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for tutoring services.
