HARD TIMES CAFE REVIEWS
I am not even a vegetarian but their gyro (with seitan) was delicious. The vibe is authentic, expressive, no nonsense which I loved. I also love that they feature arts created by local children. This is a place I would take my old friend from out of town to get a taste of Minneapolis.
Super good food and so so may vegan/veg options. I got the Seitan Philly with vegan cheese. It was really good. Perfect portion and very reasonable prices. My friend got the falafel wrap which was also good. Lots of drink options, as well as a nice bakery case up front. Chill grunge vibe inside. Definitely a great place to come to chill out and eat some good vegan goodness.
Awesome coffee, my daughter had gyros sandwich .. clear, good atmosphere, music.. best coffee, better than caribou.. But would love a Blueberry muffin.. Their was only strawberry muffins.

THE HERBIVOROUS BUTCHER REVIEWS
My daughter is vegan and my wife and I have also given up meat. That said, I took my kids here to get sandwiches. The cold cut sandwiches were fantastic! My son picked the sandwich with the vegan mac and cheese and we all loved it. I bought the cookbook and a sweatshirt for my daughter for christmas and she’s excited to make the mac and cheese. Oh, and the gentleman who helped us navigate our first visit was patient and quite helpful. We will be back.
We got a charcuterie board and loved it! Their vegan meats and cheese are a must try.
The best vegan deli in the country. Amazing meats, cheeses, and of course, sandwiches, including a killer breakfast sandwich. Try it with Abuelita Guille hot sauce, which they sell there.

TRIO PLANT-BASED REVIEWS
I got the bbq pit. As some who is not vegan absolutely delicious! My sister no longer lives here but the Mac attack is her favorite food in the world so she had to get it! The appetizer of onion rings is huge! The cookies are enough for four! My favorite part was the ranch! I’m obsessed! Yes you can buy a bottle.
Came here for the first time tonight. I am so impressed with this food. My husband had the Mac attack and I had the BBQ pit. We both cleaned our plates. We also had lemonades which were delicious as well. The server was nice, warm environment. Loved it here.
The food here was absolutely mind-blowing. Easily the best cauliflower wings I’ve ever had. The food was cooked fast and I love that the restaurant is family owned! The owner chatted with us for a bit. There’s cool artwork on the walls to purchase. I cannot praise this place enough! My non-veg family loved the food here too. The fries portions were huge and delicious.
