MERIT VEGETARIAN RESTAURANT REVIEWS

Heaven for vegans, that's all I can say. I had dinner there with my friend the other day, all their dishes were delicious, the soup was made with a very good broth, the clay pot rice/noodle was amazingly seasoned and the hazelnut chocolate cake was a true treat at the end. Not only vegan, but plenty of GF options as well.

We enjoyed the dishes family-style, and every dish was really good. If we lived nearby, this place would definitely be added to our regular rotation. The faux meats were very well done, and they had a great variety on the menu. The portions were also the perfect amount, not too much. The value was also decent.

Great food at reasonable prices. The golden era, fireworks, and cheesecake were some of my favs.

SARAVANAA BHAVAN REVIEWS

If you're looking for authentic, flavorful South Indian cuisine, this restaurant is a gem! Their commitment to freshness is what sets them apart. The manager revealed they prepare everything from scratch daily, even grinding chutneys hourly. I could taste the difference! They also use a variety of high-quality oils, enhancing the dishes' flavor. All the things we ordered were fantastic. The chocolate dosa was a huge hit with the kids.

You will get a home feel back in Tamil nadu. Loved it!! Though it is a little pricy, the taste is very fresh and delicious. The sambar, and chutneys were too good. Dosa was extra crispy and big and of course very tasty. Though it is a little out of way from other Indian restaurants it is worth coming here. Also the food is never served in paper cups or plates. It is served in authentic steel plates, cups. Thanks Saravanaa Bhavan for serving the delicious food.

The thali is excellent and the meal sambhar as well as the kozhumbu are the best I’ve had in the Bay Area. It’s still the best place for South Indian food around here.

CHAAT BHAVAN REVIEWS

I visited Chat Bhavan for some chaat and had a great experience! I tried their sev puri and bhel puri—both were good, but the bhel was my favorite. The flavors were well-balanced, and the crunch was just right. I also had their cutting chai, which was decent. They have an extensive menu with plenty of options to explore, so I’ll definitely be back to try more. A great spot for chaat lovers.

By far one of the best vegetarian Indian restaurants. The quality, taste and aroma are unbelievable. Just the right amount of spices, makes every bite an explosion of flavors. Lakhvir Singh is wonderful, polite and very kind.

Staffs are very friendly and helpful. It was my first time there. Enjoyed the service and foods there very much.
