I drive all the way from SF just to see Dr. Mattu and Dr. Fosbender (for over 5 years now). They are the best, the nurses are fantastic and take great care of my two dogs. They always recommend the best treatment and give us a breakdown of everything. They never over treat, unlike SF clinics.
I bring my two cats here whenever they need to be seen by a vet. The staff here is incredible! They provide great customer service both to me and my cats. I recently brought in Muffins because she was having an allergic reaction to her new food. The staff called me two days after the appointment to see how Muffins was doing. I will continue to bring my furbabies here.

Friendly, gentle, and knowledgeable vets and staff. Very professional level of care, both routine care and surgery. Our rescue dog had surgery for "breast" cancer, which appears to be completely cured. The aftercare and follow up by Dr. Pierson was exceptional. I totally trust this clinic with our pet.

Impeccable! Everyone is so helpful there. It's a little pricier than other places so it might not be necessary for routine things but for complex cases like one of my dogs, it is well worth it. I highly recommend this place.
Dr. Freeman treats our skittish and vet shy dog with such care and gentleness that she is calm during our good visits and vaccination times. Berkeley Dog and Cat vets and staff keep up to date with best practice and share that information with their clients. We recommend this practice.
