TOP 3 OUTDOOR KIDS OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY REVIEWS
We absolutely love Outdoor Kids! Our child did their summer camp and then completed a full year of a weekly group and we're signed up for next year. It was such a wonderful time of the week for our child to get into nature, work on social skills with peers in a supportive setting and work on their individual OT goals- rather than having separate social groups, OT sessions and outings in nature, we got to do all three at once! The therapists and volunteers are really personable, focused on the kids, offer amazing feedback through video updates and photos each week, always check in with the caregivers and offer very targeted feedback and support. It's so wonderful to see the many skills our child is developing through their time at OKOT! Thank you.
I have an 8-year-old daughter on the spectrum, and Outdoor Kids OT has been amazing for her! It is led by occupational therapists who are professionals and skilled in autism. They facilitate various social and emotional learning activities while being outdoors, engaging in imaginative play. My daughter has an absolute blast every week! Before the sessions, you get the opportunity to work with the OT and formulate goals for your child to help them succeed. The OTs are all very nice, responsive to any concerns I have, and provide weekly updates in the form of videos and pictures. If you have a child who faces social and emotional challenges, I highly recommend Outdoor Kids OT.
We started with Outdoor Kids Occupational Therapy this school year. From applying, answering questions, advice, locations for meeting, phone conferences, etc. we have been incredibly pleased with the whole process. As a Special Education teacher for a couple of decades, I have worked with dozens of Occupational Therapists. The level of knowledge, professionalism, and empathy that we experience from OKOT is better than anything I have ever seen. My son is in a group and also receives individual services. His ability to recognize emotions within himself, his ability to integrate into a group, and access tools for regulation steadily increases with each week we have with Gabbi. I highly recommend reaching out to them with any questions or concerns. You will not regret it.

TOP 3 OT KIDSENSE REVIEWS
Kelli Howie has worked with our daughter, Scarlett, from the time she was just 9 months old. Scarlett's seven now, and come a tremendous way because of Kelli's work. Kelli's new business: "OT Kidsense" isn't really a new business at all. She's been helping kids for years. Kelli is a gold star OT, rivaled by no one in the field that I've ever met. So many OTs use a rather narrow range of techniques to address a specific identified issue. For Scarlett, global delays in her fine motor abilities, sensory issues and many other issues made for several moving targets. No amount of narrow goal setting was ever going to address all of Scarlett's needs. Scarlett needed a rounded, whole-human approach to therapy, and that is exactly what Kelli provides. Any concerned parent looking at sensory or fine motor issues with their child in the area should take a look a Kelli's new business. Our daughter would not be the same without her.
Kelli Howie has to be one of the best Occupational Therapists my family has worked with. My little sister has had probably four different occupational therapists and Kelli was by far our favorite. She worked the longest with my sister and was really able to identify all of her specific fine motor and sensory needs so quickly! What we love about Kelli is that she creates a new and individualized special approach and techniques for each individual child. That's what makes her great! Not only is she very educated and skilled in her work, but she seriously is very good with children, and that is a very essential skill as well. We love Kelli so much and we are so glad we got to work with her, she helped Fatimah grow so much so fast!
We can't thank Kelli enough for her guidance and patience with our six year-old, who absolutely looked forward to attending every OT session. In addition to addressing our kid's proprioceptive input needs in a fun and engaging way, Kelli was great at providing a safe space for our kid to express herself, which made our weekly visits something to look forward to. We had tried another OT specialist in the area and were especially impressed at how Kelli was able to keep our child on task. Kelli was also great at teaching our kid the tools she needs to help address her sensory input needs giving her agency in the process. We also noticed that she is up-to-date on the latest research and information regarding children like ours. Additionally, I am an advocate for brushing as a result of OT Kidsense's guidance. I have noticed a marked decline in bedtime disregulation and struggles as a result of small exercises such as brushing. We'd like to give a big thank you from our little family to OT Kidsense!! Thank you Kelli!.
