3 Best Veterinary Clinics in Springfield, MO

I’m a new resident to Missouri. I was having trouble adjusting to this new environment. I’d had a terrible experience with my initial contact with a vet and sitting service for my dog. Then, I found Dr. Ellie at Grant Pet Hospital after another long google search. I totally hit the jackpot! I was pleased with EVERYTHING about them. They were very professional, kind, compassionate, and supportive people who cared for my fur baby. In addition, my vet gave me loads of information to help my pup adjust to apartment living. This was the best decision I’d made since arriving here! I LOVE GRANT PET HOSPITAL.

Update: His teeth were removed. He was in pain daily. Thank you Grant Pet Hospital! We pray for quick healing and we appreciate you all. Our first appointment was very good. People are friendly and my poor cat needs to have all his teeth removed. He has bad gums and pain. We were fortunate to have Grant Pet Hospital have an open available day to do the procedure. We will have this done next week.

I have a very fussy cat and the cat behaved perfectly because the professionals at this location are so comfortable in their own skin and in handling animals. I found everyone very considerate, the place was immaculately clean, I would recommend this place highly.

I’ve been taking my pets to All Creatures Pet Hospital for the last 20 years. Dr. Blackburn is like part of the family. We had to put our dog Ollie to sleep one which we’ve had since 2000. Dr. Blackburn ALWAYS gives you options on how to care for your pets. Ollie began having issues with his health about 5 years ago but we weren’t ready to let him go so we tried preventive care for him. He had a pretty bad tooth that with a younger dog it could’ve been removed, but with Ollie being so old we opted for some pain medication to keep the pain at a minimum because Dr. Blackburn was not comfortable putting him under to resolve the issue. He started to have a lot of issues with his joints and meds were prescribed for that as well. For awhile it all helped but he just kept going down hill. This past year we’ve been preparing ourselves for the inevitable. And that day finally came where we had to say our goodbyes to him. Dr.Blackburn was the best!!! The meds were delivered and we were allowed to stay as long as we wanted to say those last goodbyes. We have 4 cats and they all are under his care and wouldn’t have it any other way. I would STRONGLY RECOMMEND All Creatures Pet Hospital if your looking for a vet that really cares for your pet look no farther than here. I’ve spent months trying to find someone to take me seriously on my exotic cat breed’s declining health. Dr.Deal has passed zero judgement on his breed (something I’d experienced while trying to get treatment for him prior to her) and has worked diligently to maintain follow ups to treat his UTI. Plus, all of the vet techs and staff are so kind and caring. I won’t take my pets anywhere else going forward.

We've been bringing our pets here for almost 15 years. Always pleased with the staff and Dr. Blackburn for understanding hunting breed dogs so well! They do great with our cats as well, worth the drive across town for sure.
