He completed his Bachelor of Arts degree at San Francisco State University. He completed 4 years of medical school in Traditional Chinese Medicine and earned a Master's of Traditional Chinese Medicine (MSTCM) at the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences in Oakland, CA. He completed his Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM) at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco, CA. He is a certified Acupuncture Sports Medicine practitioner under noted Dr. Whitfield Reaves, L. Ac, who is a pioneer in this field since the 1980s where he began treating athletes in the '84 LA Olympics.”
