I was a client at Above & Beyond and I found the experience to be quite rewarding. The environment was very welcoming and the staff very professional. Although I have graduated I continue to attend their alumni program. They Always have open arms for any and everyone. I recommend their services to anyone in need. You won't regret it.

I entered a PHP program at SunCloud for my anxiety and depression. I was really nervous at first because I just assumed it would be like what I saw in movies - people in white gowns mumbling about, running into one another. Turns out it was the complete opposite. The staff were so patient and funny, it was hard to have a bad day in such a comforting environment. SunCloud focuses on a community-based approach meaning patients were encouraged to check in with each other and openly discuss any hardships (only what they’re comfortable with, no one is forced to talk or share, ever). I was a little hesitant with this, but soon realized that healing the community was actually healing me. We gave to and took from one another in a way I can’t really explain. It was all so therapeutic and cathartic at the same time. SunCloud saved my life. They changed the fundamental way I approach life and deal with the difficult times. The mornings aren’t so dreadful anymore, and the unexpected, sudden changes in life are no longer so catastrophic.

The staff at SunCloud Health Chicago is nothing I have ever experienced within the mental health field. They are very trauma aware and understand how to address the co-occurring addictions. My treatment plan was very specific to my own needs and the community support is top-level. They helped me focus on my after care plans to ensure I stayed connected to my community. Which I have been able to do so. The new alumni program is exciting and has helped me grow outside of my comfort zone.

A friend of mine is currently in a program at SunCloud. I was worried about her prior to treatment. She was making a lot of choices that were hurting herself and those around her. She entered SunCloud a few months ago, and the changes I’ve already seen have made all the difference in the world.
