Natalie Watkins, Trosa changed my life for the better. I was a mess, I was never homeless or jobless in my term I was a functioning addict. To me I was perfect; once I got accepted into Trosa, wow that experience was one of the best things I could have ever done. It taught me how to respect others and to cherish the small things in life. Trosa is an amazing organization, there you have the tools to open any door to a better you, life, it teaches you how to build beautiful relationships with total strangers. I went on March 4th, 2019 and stayed there until June of 3021. If you are serious about changing your life for the better call they will be there for 100%. I'm not sure if I can name certain staff, but for the whole they want to see you succeed in your new journey in life. Amazing group of recovering addicts are there for you. They have traveled the same road as you have, they just decided to make a leap for the better things in life, if they did it so can you.

I have always heard the food could and should be better. There are better ingredients held back that are definitely earned and could/should be enjoyed by all. I know for a fact when the people have happy stomachs they'll just about work hard at anything. Get one of those big time culinary chef's come in and with the interested residents in culinary, turn the food and kitchen around. Other than that, TROSA and my son's hard work saved his life years ago. He needs the program again, I hope he'll reach out to you guys.

If you want to get your life straight... This place works but it all boils down to the individual person. I successfully completed the program , that is me in the back left wearing pink tie.The best way to sum this place up is- You do it!

I want to say thank you to this location & Julius ( the teacher of my class ) When I first started attending the class it truly felt like a punishment. Months later as I reflected on that moment of my life, I can see the progress I’ve made as a person overall since attending the classes. In my case, depression caused drinking then drinking caused more depression. I’ve been sober since my charge & while attending the classes, but my mindset was still the same. This class helped me recognize what truly mattered to me, thinking more half full instead of half empty. The routine of this class allows you to be vulnerable in front of other individuals with similar experiences & really feel humanized. This class teaches you the statistics of driving while impaired. The reality of other people’s lives, it opens your eyes that much more to better understand the impact of what drinking & driving does. Julius was an amazing teacher for this class, he let other people feel human without judgement. Definitely made a positive impact on me & my inner self, thank you!

I met with Mr. Dockery today and it was a WORLD of difference! I have a complicated case and Mr. Dockery knew exactly what to do and jumped in right away to assist me. You can tell that he truly cares about what he does and that he truly knows his stuff! Even though I went for an assessment to see what I needed to do- I left a different person and actually am looking forward to completing my classes. Did I mention the other place I looked at was going to charge me TWICE as much as Genesis? Upon my arrival Ms. Theresa was kind and respectful of my situation. Giving me the paper work to fill out and sign. Mr Moore who did my evaluation was very professional. Dealing with a DWI can be stressful and they both made this part of my experience smooth and judgement free.
